The Enumclaw City Council moved swiftly through routine business on June 22: the minutes of the June 8 meeting were approved by voice vote, the consent agenda passed, and the council approved Resolution No. 1881 to allocate previously authorized funds for July 4 parade security.
During the meeting council members also voted to excuse absent Councilmembers Salmons, Waterhouse and Smith and welcomed congratulations for Councilmember Stanley on a new child; committee reports covered ongoing work on solicitations, pool refunds, Pickleball Court concerns and a planned feasibility review for an inclusive playground. The meeting closed after a motion to adjourn passed by voice vote; the mayor declared the meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
No executive session was held and no final votes were taken on the first-reading ordinances (electric motorcycles and the budget amendment).
