Residents urge shelter and recycling options; board approves pavilion use and ends pavilion trash pickup

Trustee Hilliard and President Shingleton raised concerns that people would put inappropriate items into such a bin and noted space limitations (village property begins one foot in front of the Pavilion; the parking lot is Canadian National property). Separately, President Shingleton said she had been contacted about Healing Traditions Senior Yoga and the board approved use of the Pavilion for the sessions; the board also approved discontinuing Pavilion trash pickup, with Shingleton and staff member Dan checking weekly and disposing of collected trash at the equipment building dumpster.
