The village issued a permit application on March 24; road maintenance and planned oil-and-chip work on Hartline require either approval or removal of the culvert.
Dan and staff attempted to contact the property owner (identified in the minutes as Shannon) to pick up the permit and discuss compliance but were unable to make contact. The board said it may remove the culvert if the owner does not submit a permit application and comply with standards so scheduled road work can proceed.
