Resident urges council to consider noise, licensing before approving event venue at former Moose Lodge

Malinaro recommended that council members review the municipal noise-control provisions (he cited Chapter 8 of the municipal code) and think carefully about granting any liquor license or permitting loud uses in a residential area. “This has the potential of being in a residential area and being, probably pretty loud,” he said. He urged council and police to consider location and licensing consequences and said he would return if the issue proceeds through the permitting process.
