Kittson Central board approves superintendent contract, rejects land sale; passes multiple resolutions

The Kittson Central School Board met Oct. 23, 2025, in Hallock and completed a series of routine and personnel actions, including approval of the superintendent’s contract for 2026–2027 and acceptance of the district’s Comprehensive Achievement and Civic Readiness (CACR) Plan. Minutes record that each motion carried with five yeas and two absent members.
The board also approved a resolution to submit a Form A Foundation Grant to the Minnesota State High School League and adopted a resolution establishing combined polling places for school-district elections. On property matters, the board approved an administration recommendation "to not sell the school land west of Kennedy." The meeting closed with the board accepting a homecoming-advisor resignation and hiring a replacement. The minutes show the next meeting is scheduled for Nov. 19.
