The Floodwood Public School District board voted to approve the Shared Digital Student Learning Initiative Family Handbook and the Overnight Technology Checkout form for grades 1–12 for the 2026–2027 school year. The motion was made by Kellee Young and seconded by Pete Kramer and passed by unanimous voice vote at the April 27 meeting.
The minutes record approval of the handbook and the form but do not include the handbook text or operational details such as device eligibility, damages or parent consent processes. Administration indicated that handbook review yielded no board recommendations and that adjustments will be made by administration with a first reading scheduled for the June working session.
