West Linn Arts page consolidation planned as commission curates content

The commission reviewed the city’s arts and culture web presence and found duplicated pages and broken links. Shatrin Craig described the current issue: two pages contained overlapping content and a Google search sometimes produced a 404 error for the arts page. Commissioners agreed to consolidate content onto one city-managed page—likely under Parks & Recreation—and to store final copy, PDFs and application forms in a shared Google Drive for easy transfer to the webmaster.

Members discussed practical next steps: staff will format copy for transfer, identify working links and images, and create a folder structure for submission forms, photography and donor materials. The goal is a single, accessible repository that the public can find through search and that staff can keep up to date as events and calls for art are posted.
