West Linn volunteers compile repair directory and plan Feb. 28 repair fair

Greg said he compiled a list of 19 West Linn repair businesses — covering electronics, bicycle, appliance, furniture and clothing repair — and suggested publishing the list on the board’s web page. "It was just kinda funny… I only chose businesses that were actually located in West Linn rather than the businesses that served West Linn," Greg said.
Dylan added that Robinwood Station is hosting a repair fair on Feb. 28 and suggested recruiting specialty volunteers (for example, zipper repair) to ensure a wide range of fixes. Members agreed the city newsletter and Tidings would be appropriate channels to publicize the directory once the board finalizes it.
