The ISD 2071 School Board approved the 2026–2027 school year calendar at its Feb. 17 meeting. The calendar committee presented three options to staff; Option 2 received 66% of the teacher vote and the board accepted the committee’s recommendation.
Board members voted to approve the calendar by motion and the clerk recorded the motion as carried unanimously. The minutes indicate spring conferences in March and other calendar-driven events that staff and families should note; the district will publish the approved calendar and distribute it to staff and families.
Superintendent Benson and principals will oversee scheduling and communications related to the approved calendar.
