Bree Broussard (presenting as Brie Bussard) asked the council to approve a modification to Avalon History Tours' transportation permit to add two electric autoettes.
"This is going to be a 2026, just a electric 6 seater golf cart," Bussard said, describing a new commercial autoette for guided tours and the swap of a personal vehicle into commercial service.
Staff explained that guided-tour permits renew every three years, that residential autoette stickers can be repurposed with review, and that the city will include standard stated conditions in its approval: an active City of Avalon business license, current insurance, active vehicle sticker permits and adherence to on-street parking rules. Council approved the modification with those conditions and a requirement that staff track compliance and revoke permits if conditions lapse.
