The Board of Independent School District 308 (Nevis Public School District) convened a special session on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026, at 9:00 p.m. in Superintendent Ranae Seykora's office. At 9:01 p.m., Board member Andy Lindow moved, seconded by Aimee Plumley, to go into closed session to discuss a personnel matter; the roll call vote to move to closed session was unanimous.
The board returned to open session at 9:10 p.m. after a motion by Board member Dave McGee, seconded by Andy Lindow. Following the return to open session, Chair Dave McGee read a "Resolution Proposing Discipline," which the board subsequently approved by unanimous roll call. Karrin Lindow moved to adjourn at 9:20 p.m., a motion seconded by Andy Lindow. The board's next regular meeting was scheduled for Monday, Feb. 23, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Media Center and via Zoom.
