The Independent School District 622 School Board on Dec. 16 adopted the 2025 payable 2026 property tax levy in the total amount of $69,993,802.64. The motion, moved by Director Livingston and seconded by Director Swor, passed on a 6–0 vote.
Under the adopted resolution the School Board Clerk is authorized to sign the document used to certify the property tax levy to county auditors and the Minnesota Department of Education. The resolution text in the meeting minutes states the levy amount and the clerk’s authority to certify the levy.
Board members took the action during the business meeting after routine agenda and consent items; the board then moved on to other agenda items and adjourned at 6:30 PM. No speaker or member requested additional public hearings on the levy during the meeting.
