A board member (speaker 2) explained that books including one title referenced as "White Lies" had been removed because the member found factual concerns: “I didn't feel like that was even remotely accurate… not appropriate as a nonfiction book in our library because I don't think it was accurate.” The speaker and others clarified that removed titles are not prohibited from campus if a student provides a personal copy or acquires it through interlibrary loan; the board carried the motion to approve the list.
