"The recommendation I'm making is to sign the 5 year contract with AltTel...The cost for that will be $2,222.44 a month, which meets the budgeted amount that I had in my budget for this year," Over said. He also noted a potential near‑term savings of about $3,000 on Frontier service costs. The board approved entering the contract on a voice vote.
Directors and commissioners asked about vendor support; Over said AltTel offers 24/7 North American support. Specific vendor headquarters were not listed in the proposal distributed at the meeting.
