County Manager Kevin Johnson presented a lengthy consent agenda that the board approved by motion and second without substantive discussion.
Johnson summarized key consent items: adoption of the Atlanta Speedway Airport governance manual to establish operating rules; automatic renewals of cooperation agreements with the cities of Hampton, Locust Grove, McDonough and Stockbridge to requalify Henry County as an urban county for CDBG participation; approval of RFP 26-33 for Forensic Medicine Associates for coroner medical examiner services ($200,000 for one year with two mutual renewals); multiple new streetlight districts in Districts 1, 3 and 5; amendment to a flock safety agreement; a Keys Ferry Road Extension design services supplemental agreement for $140,000; SPLOST-funded mitigation purchases and change orders; a Georgia DOT resurfacing payment; and negotiated eminent-domain acquisitions for Fairview Road Phase 3 right of way pursuant to OCGA sections noted in the presentation.
Chair asked for comments, heard none, and the board approved the entire consent agenda by voice vote. The consent approvals were presented as routine administrative and procurement actions with funding cited as available in the respective project accounts or fiscal-year budgets.
