The Tarpon Springs Board of Commissioners voted to reappoint Commissioner Weaver to the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) board when her term ends in September.
City Manager Mark Lecoris presented the recommendation, saying the reappointment was routine and asked the board to handle the business now because of a busy August and September calendar. "The recommendation here is to reappoint to Lori Weaver when it's up at the end of September," he said. With no public comment, the commission approved the appointment on a roll-call vote; Commissioners Weaver, Banther and Eisner and Mayor Kouliannis voted yes and the vice mayor remained excused.
