The chair announced that council will set three public hearings on Sept. 14 to consider declaring properties at 1045 Forest Brook Drive, 608 Shades Creek Parkway, and 1580 Berry Road as public nuisances because of excessive growth. Staff confirmed the hearings will be handled by code enforcement and that property owners will receive notice.
"That date is gonna be September 14, and we will set that," the chair said when listing the properties. Council did not take a final determination at pre-council; the item was scheduled so staff can prepare notices and reports for the formal hearings.
