Council sets Sept.14 hearing to rezone small remnant at 1832 25th Court South

Conrad, a planning staff member, told council the western portion of the lot at 1832 25th Court South was never officially rezoned when the adjacent property sold and currently retains an institutional (I-2) remnant. He described the change as largely administrative and said the correction will make the parcel’s zoning consistent with the rest of the lot.
“We’re just cleaning up and finishing off,” Conrad said. Councilor discussion focused on the ministerial nature of the change and whether any neighbors had outstanding objections; staff said the planning commission deliberated and issued a positive recommendation. The chair set a public hearing for September 14 to give formal notice and allow any parties to comment.
