Stephanie Burke, a planner with the Rutland Regional Planning Commission, opened the presentation by saying, "I'm Stephanie Burke, a planner with the Rutland Regional Planning Commission," and described Phase 3 as the release of the commission's first full draft of the regional plan for public review.
Burke told the Tinmouth select board and residents that Phase 3 asks two simple engagement questions: whether the plan reflects the right regional economic development priorities and whether those priorities make the region a place people want to "live, work, and play." She said the draft will be posted on rutlandrpc.org/plan2026 in early June, and that towns are being asked to submit feedback within three weeks of their meeting (the RPC requested feedback by May 30) so staff can process input and meet deadlines for a January hearing and plan adoption schedule.
