The Rockford Board of Education adopted a resolution authorizing Assistant Courtney Neibert as the district’s Identified Official with Authority (IOwA) for Education Identity and Access Management (EDIAM). The board record states that the Minnesota Department of Education, PELSB and the Office of Higher Education require annual designation of an IOwA for any local educational agency using EDIAM. The IOwA is responsible for authorizing and recertifying user access to state education systems and revoking access when it is no longer needed.
Member Morgan moved and Chair Gordee seconded the resolution. On a roll call vote Gordee, Johnson, Morgan, Hillstrom and Praska voted in favor; none voted against. The resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
