The Litchfield Public Schools board approved its consent agenda at the March 23 regular meeting, carrying the motion 5-0. Marcia Provencher moved and Stephanie Danielson seconded to approve the consent agenda; the motion carried 5-0. The personnel items approved included the 2025–2027 District Data Specialist contract for Emily Bratz (transfer from middle school secretary, effective April 7, 2026), the hiring of Emilee Henderson as Girls JV Softball Coach (salary $4,261.00, effective March 9, 2026), Kierra Lease as a Dragon Kids Club Aide (up to 10 hours/week at $13.50/hour), and Alex Nelson as a Dragon Kids Club Aide (up to 40 hours/week at $15.00/hour). Several marching band positions were approved under Schedule C: Bailey Benoit as Head Marching Band Director (Level I, $6,600.00), Jeremy Kargas (Assistant, Level III, $4,261.00), Zachary Olson and Remington Zeppelin (Color Guard, splitting Level IV $2,727.00), Natasha Koll (Drumline, Level IV, $2,727.00), and Alexander Acuna as choreography/design coordinator (position funded by a $2,500 donation from the Marching Band booster club).
The board also approved resignations and separations recorded on the consent agenda, including Brian Moe as Co‑Head Boys Hockey Coach effective March 17, 2026, Tammy Housman as High School Cook Manager effective May 29, 2026 (retirement), and the release of Paula Hill Tacheny (probationary para, part‑time bus rider) effective March 24, 2026 due to decreased student need. The board recorded the actions as part of its routine business and approved them unanimously.
