Board certifies sufficiency of instructional materials for 2024–25

The Bass Lake board held its annual public hearing on the sufficiency of instructional materials and approved Resolution 26-06 certifying that all students have access to standards-based curriculum.
Tara summarized the requirement and told the board the supporting documents list curriculum by grade level and format. The superintendent told trustees the district had undergone Williams monitoring and that, apart from a few items ordered and arriving after the visit, "we have all of that, and we for sure have all of that because we just went through Williams monitoring, and they made sure that we had all of it." That monitoring formed part of the evidence staff used to recommend certification.
A trustee asked whether any items remained outstanding; staff said only a very small number of purchases were in transit and that the district could document purchase orders to show compliance. After opening and closing the hearing, a trustee moved and the board approved the resolution by voice vote.
