At its Jan. 27 meeting the Kittson Central School District board approved multiple routine governance items.
The board set its regular meetings for the fourth Wednesday of each month at 8:00 p.m. (except November and December). Members voted to freeze board salaries for the coming year. The board designated the Kittson County Enterprise as the district's official newspaper and named United Valley Bank for petty cash, American Federal Bank for operating funds and MN Trust/PMA Financial as official depositories. The board also voted to keep committee assignments the same as in 2025, accepted the KC Cardiac Emergency Response Plan to add to the district Crisis Plan, and approved staff seniority lists. All motions carried 7-0 as recorded in the minutes.
These actions are procedural but establish administrative details the district will use for notifications, banking and internal operations for the coming year.
