At its July 14 meeting, the Independent School District #775 board voted to set athletic admission prices for school events. A motion by Jeremy Winter to remove student fees failed for lack of a second; a subsequent motion by Harmon Wilts, seconded by Sean Collins, set the following prices: Student $5.00, College Student $5.00, Adult $7.00; family pass $100.00; adult pass $50.00; adult 10-punch card $40.00; student pass $20.00; senior citizen pass $0.
The minutes record the actions as adopted by motion. The board did not provide a rationale in the minutes for the pricing choices or a projected revenue estimate; the item followed other routine approvals on the agenda.
