Lobello reviewed capital and utility projects: he said the town purchased a control panel for a lift station (an item with an eight-month lead time) and discussed ongoing drainage and generator upgrades at Town Hall Park. He also described a developer-built water-infrastructure package that will add about 620 new customers and represented over $10 million in installed infrastructure that the town will acquire for $1 when complete. "Over $10,000,000 of infrastructure we'll get for $1," Lobello said. Council members asked for clarity on police-vehicle timing and possible use of forfeiture funds; staff noted restrictions on using forfeiture funds for replacing capital items and said insurance estimates will arrive in late August.
