Lebanon R-III outlines new Success Ready Student Network and live dashboard to put students at center of accountability

The presentation framed SRSN as using leading indicators and local, timely data to inform instruction rather than relying solely on late, summative assessments.
"We're trying to establish and create an alternative accountability system that again places the student at the center," the presenter said, explaining that SRSN emphasizes frequent performance feedback, interim assessments and growth-to-mastery measures. The presenters demonstrated a live district dashboard that allows filtering by school, grade, free/reduced status and IEP, and noted the tool is already accessible on the district website.
District staff explained the dashboard’s three core tenets: (1) a continuous-improvement framework, (2) new performance indicators (leading and lagging measures including market-value assets and qualifying assessments), and (3) more transparent reporting. Staff said the dashboard compiles local district data and SRSN data and will be updated multiple times per year as assessments occur. The presenters emphasized teachers and students will be able to use the data to set goals and adjust instruction in near-real time.
Board members asked about comparability across districts; staff cautioned that districts are different and emphasized the dashboard’s role in telling the district’s full story rather than serving as a simple side-by-side comparison. The presentation also noted the district must pursue a federal waiver for SRSN to count in some accountability calculations, and that standard state assessments will continue to be administered.
The board packet includes links and instructions for accessing the dashboard; staff invited trustees to review the dashboard and provide feedback on how it represents the community and student progress.
