The superintendent described a third- and eighth-grade book celebration that paired younger and older students reading together, and an India cultural assembly run with partner Star Education that included interactive arts lessons at no cost to the district. Dr. Wilds also reported on the middle-school honor-roll breakfast, noting roughly 300 students attended, and said the district "promoted nearly 168 8th graders" at last week’s ceremony as students move on to high school. Trustees praised staff and volunteers and asked clarifying questions about staffing and event logistics.
