At the Jan. 5 reorganization meeting the ISD 2071 board approved a new compensation schedule for members. The motion, made by Paul and seconded by Hoeft, sets pay at $70 for regular and special meetings and study sessions, $110 for full-day meetings, and $50 for committee meetings; the Chair will receive an additional $625 per year and the Clerk and Treasurer $325 per year each.
The board also adopted a punctuality provision: a member's stipend will be reduced by one half if they are more than five minutes late to board meetings, study sessions, or committee meetings. The motion carried unanimously as recorded in the meeting minutes.
