Board hears buildings, grounds and rural childcare initiative updates

During the Aug. 11 meeting the board received updates from Buildings and Grounds and on the Rural ChildCare Initiative Program (RCCIP). Mr. Heidelberger reported on summer maintenance projects and noted tree removals following storm damage. The RCCIP update indicated childcare-needs surveys were distributed to employers, parents and providers and that program events are scheduled for September and November.
