Blake Day named Stephens County 2025 Employee of the Year; Christian Hamilton receives Chairman’s Award

On the Chairman’s Award, commissioners praised Christian Hamilton’s responsiveness and leadership. The chair read multiple endorsements: “Christian has demonstrated outstanding leadership,” and a colleague said Hamilton’s “steady and reassuring words have always been the same: ‘We will work through it.’” The board presented the award before moving to the evening’s land-use hearing.
