WEM approves personnel changes and MOU with Junior High principal

The board approved the consent agenda on Oct. 27, which included resignations and new hires. Resignations recorded in the minutes were Robert Culhane (Transportation - Bus Driver, effective Oct. 1, 2025) and Jared Harris (Waterville Kitchen Assistant/Baker, effective Oct. 9, 2025). New hires approved included Jared Harris (Evening Custodian, Schedule A (1)/Step 8, $16.66/hour), Christine Austin (Kitchen Assistant/Baker, Schedule A(2), Band A-1-3/Step H, $15.20/hour), and Anna Hanson (CNA/Health Office Assistant, $20.36/hour). The consent agenda motion passed with seven members voting in favor.
Separately, the board approved a Memorandum of Understanding between WEM Public Schools and Myles Knutson (see attachment). The minutes record the motion by Jon Bakken, seconded by Brenda Heuss, approving the MOU by roll call vote with seven members in favor.
