At a Sept. 30 professional development meeting, the St. Anthony‑New Brighton school board (Independent School District 282) reviewed a draft School‑Board Engagement Plan presented by Susan Brott of CESO.
The presentation outlined a proposed outreach schedule and methods for engaging residents. "The board reviewed, discussed, and with the CESO's help, will develop a calendar with locations for informal listening sessions as well as structured community conversations," the meeting minutes state. Board members said the calendar will guide where and how staff and trustees engage families and community partners over the coming months.
Board and staff attendees included Chair Barry Kinsey and staff members Hope Fagerland and Jada Richard; the board will return the plan to a future meeting after CESO helps refine timing and locations. The board did not take a final vote to adopt the plan at this session; the minutes record agreement to continue development and to bring a calendar back for review and approval.
