Parent committee outlines targeted fundraising to send every 7th grader to Wolf Ridge

"Our goal is every 7th grade student every year, attends Wolf Ridge," Becky told the board, describing a combination of family payment plans through school-pay and a community-funded general Wolf Ridge fund to cover scholarships and supplies in case costs rise (SEG 302–308, SEG 356–366). The committee said 20 families who participated in fundraising have paid or are on payment plans and that the group will reconvene in January to assess remaining needs (SEG 340–351, SEG 452–458).
Board members raised potential conflicts involving board member participation on the financing committee and asked clarifying questions about the committee's role; Becky said the committee handles only the financial side while school staff coordinate program logistics (SEG 535–551). The board welcomed the committee's rapid organization and asked the administration and the committee to continue coordinating logistics, scholarship criteria and communications to families.
