The board accepted $60 from Afton Gross for Karla Caldwell's classroom and $50 from Linda Leiding for LifeSmarts, and recorded a $19,251 total from multiple donors for Academic Decathlon. The consent agenda also accepted the retirement resignation of elementary music teacher Janalee Steinberg effective at the end of the 2025–26 school year and the phased retirement of Kathy Schroepfer effective June 30, 2026, among other resignations (evening custodian Brenda Chavez effective May 6, 2026; co-student council advisors Rob Satterness and Layce Johnson at the end of 2025–26). The board approved hires including Sailor Mohlenbrock as a secondary math teacher (seniority date August 18, 2026), Lillian Bryson as an evening custodian beginning May 11, 2026, Rachel Hollerich as a co-prom advisor for 2026–27, and Pete Goeringer as head girls basketball coach for 2026–27. The board also approved April 20 minutes and bills totaling $251,398.32 and wire transfers of $369,373.81.
Board motions to approve the agenda and the consent agenda carried unanimously.
