The Kittson Central School District Board of Education approved the proposed fiscal year 2026 budget at its June 25 meeting, voting 6–0 with one member absent.
Board member Mark Johnson moved to approve the FY26 budget; Crisa Mortenson seconded the motion, which carried. Board materials presented non-payroll checks totaling $111,469.29, an Activity Fund balance of $131,906.14, payroll wires/EFTs of $375,932.58 and payroll checks of $1,885.66. The district reported total fund balances of $3,006,311.90.
