Board approves multiple personnel actions and coach hires; assistant volleyball hire passed 5-1 after separate vote

During the Jan. 20 meeting the board approved personnel and staffing items included on the consent agenda and in action items. The consent agenda approved a termination of a probationary paraprofessional effective Jan. 15, 2026; accepted resignations (including Ashley Hall as Student Council Advisor and Linnea Imhof as Assistant to the Superintendent effective Feb. 1, 2026); and approved hires including Erin Hall (Head Volleyball Coach, 2026-2027), Jerad Kostiuk (Head Football Coach, 2026-2027), Emily Gedde (Football Cheer coach, 2026-2027) and multiple assistant and volunteer coach appointments as recorded in the minutes.
One consent item, the hire of Teah Goulet as Assistant Volleyball Coach for 2026-2027, was moved to Action Item #4 at the request of Member Toni Korpi and then approved on the floor with a recorded 5-1 vote (Korpi voting no). The motion approving Teah Goulet was made by Roxanne Skogstad-Ditsch and seconded by Dale Johnson. The minutes also record approval of the Prom Fundraiser and several booster-paid volunteer coach appointments.
