The Independent School District #775 Board of Education approved routine consent items at its April 13 meeting, voting to adopt the agenda and to approve the March 9 minutes. Motions to approve the agenda and minutes were made by Carla Olson and seconded by Harmon Wilts and Erik Finstrom, respectively; both motions passed on voice vote and roll call as recorded in the minutes.
The board also approved bills and electronic funds payments by roll call vote of Collins, Olson, Finstrom, Wilts and Rudningen. Trustees accepted multiple donations supporting events and programs: Togetherness Day gifts (for example, Dons Building Center $50; Glacial Plains Coop $100), memorial donations to Barnehage (Trudy Roever and John Skogstoe, $200 each), SWIF grant donations ($1,400 for Ag, Music, Drama and $2,000 for Ag, Music, Robotics), $750 from the Football Association for weight‑room equipment and a $1,000 contribution from Riverview Dairy toward facilities use. Carla Olson moved the motion to accept gifts; the motion carried 5‑0 as recorded.
