Staff explained that Resolution 24‑25‑104 is the annual Williams certification confirming that required textbooks and instructional materials are available at all district sites for mathematics, science, English language arts and social studies, and that the district’s newly adopted ELD curriculum is included.
Superintendent Meyer said Auburn Elementary had a Williams visit at the end of August and was found to be in compliance; the resolution and accompanying documentation were provided in the agenda packet. Trustee Ross asked a question about science lab materials for 7th and 8th grade and staff explained that consumable lab materials and some science kits were in the process of being placed at sites and that back orders existed for some Inspire Science kits; staff said they would track outstanding inventory and place orders as needed.
The board moved, seconded and approved Resolution 24‑25‑104 by roll call.
