CAM Act and community members praise city arts support and urge deeper survey follow-up

At the start of the meeting, Colleen Hudson, education director with the CAM Act, thanked the commission for continued support and reported that the organization's school residency work has expanded: from two schools in an earlier season to four in 2024–25 and five schools this season, including two Title I sites.
"In our 02/2024 season, we offered our theatre residency to two schools in the district and expanded that to four schools in the 2024–25 season. This year, we will be in five schools in the Boulder Valley School District, including two Title I schools," Hudson said, thanking commissioners for their support.
Later, Deb Malde encouraged staff to revisit survey responses for general operating support, suggesting deeper outreach to gather meaningful input before potential program changes. Commissioners acknowledged the survey and said staff will follow up where additional detail is needed.
