"There was no public comment," the minutes record. The board took no substantive budget amendments during the meeting and moved to formally certify the levy as presented.
Board members said the levy certification followed a standard hearing process and was tied to the budget presentation. The certification now becomes the district’s formal tax levy figure for 2026; any further adjustments would follow statutory deadlines and district procedures. The board’s organizational meeting is scheduled for Jan. 8, when staffing and procedural items will be set for the calendar year.
