The Board of Directors of Lane County School District 40 (Creswell SD 40) said it will decide on a superintendent search firm at a special meeting scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025, at 6:00 PM after hearing proposals at its Nov. 18 special meeting.
Superintendent Mike Johnson introduced two search-firm representatives: Kathleen Rodden-Nord of Human Capital Enterprises and Jennifer Nelson of OSBA. According to the minutes, each representative outlined their organization's superintendent search process and answered board questions; the board discussed the proposals but took no final vote on Nov. 18.
Chair Kandice Lemhouse Worsham told members that, because this was a special meeting, the board could vote that night but the group instead reached consensus to schedule a virtual meeting on Nov. 25 for the formal selection. The minutes record that the meeting on Nov. 25 will be held virtually and begin at 6:00 PM.
The reconvening gives board members additional time to review proposals and follow up on questions raised during the presentations. No search firm was selected on Nov. 18, and the Nov. 25 meeting is the next scheduled step in the superintendent search timeline.
