Christy Perry reviewed a draft of the Next Superintendent Criteria and asked for board input; after revisions the board voted unanimously to approve the criteria as amended. The minutes record that Ms. Perry sought to finalize the document that evening so it could be posted on Friday.
Board members also reached consensus on a salary base range of $160,000 to $185,000 to include in the job posting. The board agreed to form two confidential panels — one comprising district leadership and another of staff, students, parents/guardians and community members — to interview finalists prior to final interviews with the board. The slate meeting is scheduled for Feb. 24 at 5 PM via Zoom; finalist interviews are scheduled March 10–12 beginning at 6 PM, and the regular board meeting was moved to March 18 to accommodate the search timeline.
