The director described modest gains: 9th‑grade on‑track improved by about 1.8 percentage points and focal groups rose 2.5%.
Staff tied those improvements to targeted freshman‑success classes, strengthened RTI groups and after‑school connection activities. The presenter also said the district’s graduation rate improved by 1.9 percentage points and the high school’s rate was reported near 95.5% in local remarks; staff noted that small cohorts make percentage swings sensitive to a handful of students.
