Separately, the board voted to table an out‑of‑state trip request for the Cascade cheer program and asked the district safety director, Doctor Dyer, to assess safety issues and report back before the board reconsiders the trip. Trustees apologized for communication missteps about the Cloverdale cancellation and said they would follow up with parents and staff.
