Superintendent (addressed as Mr. Drill) reported that the district contracted a team of firms (BBL Architects, RNC management, WRK engineers) to complete a facilities review required by the state. He said the consultants finished their calculations and will produce a written report the district can use for community meetings and bond planning.
At the meeting the superintendent explained that completing the review "checks the box" required by state grant rules: if the district passes a bond it could receive up to $6,000,000 in additional grant funding to offset construction costs. Trustees discussed forming a committee to prioritize project options and agreed to invite board members to participate in outreach and planning beginning this winter.
