The Wabasso Public School District (ISD 640) school board on Dec. 22 worked through its superintendent search interview plan, selecting the questions to be used in the first round of interviews and scheduling a separate meeting to pick candidates for interviews on Monday, Jan. 5, 2026 at 7:00 a.m. Board Chair Josh Goche called the work session to order at 5:04 p.m. in the Activity Center Classroom at Wabasso Public School.
Wade McKittrick of BetterU Solutions updated the board on feedback he had received from stakeholders and candidates, and the trustees used that information while reviewing the interview preparation guide and finalizing the questions for the first-round interviews. The minutes record that the board "selected the interview questions to be used in the first round of interviews." The next meeting was set to "select candidates to be interviewed." The work session adjourned at 6:28 p.m.
