Board nominates representatives and votes in OSBA elections; Legislative Policy Committee seat goes to Judy Newman

The Creswell School District 40 board conducted nominations and votes for two Oregon School Boards Association (OSBA) positions during its Nov. 12 meeting. Chair Kandice Lemhouse Worsham noted the two offices up for election: OSBA Board of Directors Position 6 and Legislative Policy Committee Position 6.
Sarah Cox nominated Judy Newman for the Legislative Policy Committee and Lacey Risdal nominated Adrian Pollut. The minutes record that Mr. Anderson, Ms. Cox, Ms. Stayton, Ms. Wilkerson and Chair Lemhouse Worsham voted for Judy Newman while Mrs. Risdal voted for Adrian Pollut, yielding a 5–1 vote in favor of Newman. For OSBA Board of Directors Position 6, Mary Stayton moved to nominate Maureen Miltenberger; there were no other nominations and the board's vote for Miltenberger was unanimous.
