Creswell SD 40 board approves amended superintendent search timeline and directs community survey

Christy Perry reviewed the draft timeline and activity details for the superintendent search and answered board questions. The board then directed Superintendent Mike Johnson and Bethany Scovil, Communications and Community Engagement Coordinator, to post a “Superintendent Search Survey on Creswell School District’s webpage” to collect perspectives from students, families, staff and community members. Mrs. Risdal moved to approve the amended timeline; Ms. Stayton seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
The decision sets the process steps and public engagement mechanism for selecting Creswell School District’s next superintendent. Board members did not record further procedural dates in the minutes beyond the approved timeline and the instruction to post the survey.
