Creswell superintendent announces retirement effective June 30, 2026

Superintendent Mike Johnson told the Creswell School District board on Oct. 8 that he will retire from his position effective June 30, 2026.
“I have decided to focus on the needs of my family and retire from my position as Superintendent effective June 30, 2026,” Johnson said, adding that he plans to complete the school year and remains “focused on, and invested in, our Creswell students, staff, and community.”
Johnson highlighted recent facilities work in his report, including the final engineering design for the CTE building and completion of the CHS canopy, and said he is proud of progress made during his seven years in Creswell. The board did not take action on a superintendent transition plan at the meeting; routine business proceeded as scheduled.
