The Cascade School District Board of Education adopted Resolution 7c, a consolidated annual organizational and business‑designation resolution effective July 1, 2025.
The resolution designates Superintendent Darren Drill as district clerk, chief administrator and budget officer; designates the fiscal director, William Wong, as deputy clerk and custodian of funds; and authorizes Mr. Wong to sign or use a facsimile signature to sign checks for legally authorized district expenses. The resolution also authorizes the deputy clerk to invest district funds in accordance with ORS 295.165 and to approve bills to be paid.
The resolution named multiple depositories (U.S. Bank, Columbia Bank, Wells Fargo, Riverview Community Bank, MAPS Credit Union, Willamette Valley Bank, and the Oregon State Treasury), designated Assured Partners of Oregon as agent of record for insurance, approved the Special Districts Association of Oregon’s PACE program for property and liability coverage, and designated an auditor for the district. The motion to adopt the combined resolution was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
The resolution also set the minimum certified daily rate for teachers at $260.02 for the 2025–26 school year and established the board’s monthly meeting schedule (second Monday, 7:00 p.m., District Office Board room unless publicly noticed otherwise).
